Tag rules:

Procedure
I can't help but flout one clause of rule 1, which asks me to open the nearest book. All the books nearest to me are my text books and since I’m done with my exams a few hours ago, I’m not at all going to open them now.
So I venture downstairs to the book shelf and get hold of the nearest book. But alas! This book India 2020 by APJ Abdul Kalam , has some charts on page 123. the next nearest book is Ripley’s believe it or not and again disappointment ! this thin book which is not strong enough to kill a mosquito , does not have page 123. it finishes off in 80 pages.
Okay, no more fumbling. Finally I get hold of a book which does have some text on page 123.
The book is Short Stories collection by Oxford University Press.
The story is One Autumn Night by Maxim Gorky.
“In our present state of culture, hunger of mind is more quickly satisfied than hunger of the body. You wander about the streets, you are surrounded by buildings not bad looking from outside and you may safely say it –not so badly furnished inside, and the sight of them may excite within you stimulating ideas about architecture,hygiene and otherwise and high flying subjects.”
