The News: "Cat 2009 goes online. The test will be conducted in a window
of about ten days
sometime at the end of the calendar year."

Reaction of a classmate: "Window of about 10 days? So that means it will be like the board exams? Like we go and give the quant section one day, then we have a study leave for 1 or 2 days and then go for the english section...like that?"

Other people trying hard to control their emotions: "No, window of 10 days means you go and get the paper from a test centre on day 1, solve it at your convenience, and submit it on the 10th day".

like you can choose any day between these 10 days as your test day at a particular centre, or tests will be held across the cities spread over 10 days...nobody is sure thoough
